The tapered roller, assembled in the bearing as a rolling element, is guided by the large stop edge of the inner ring. It can bear radial load and axial load in one direction, and the load capacity is large. As high load capacity bearings, there are HR series with increased roller size and number of rollers.
As with radial thrust bearings, two bearings are generally used in opposition. In this case, it can be adjusted axially according to the interval of the same inner ring or the same outer ring to obtain the set clearance.
Because it is separate, the inner ring and the outer ring can be disassembled separately.
Due to the different size of the contact Angle, it can be divided into general cone Angle, middle cone Angle and large cone Angle, and it can be divided into double row and four row tapered roller bearings by the number of rows of rollers. Generally, steel plate stamping cages are used.
